If the system still exits after the foregoing,suspect a fault on the HDD, and replace the HDDand re-install the system software.*6 02 There is a file system error. The system software is designed so that theinformation in this partition (e.g., address book,filter) is not deleted inadvertently; i.e., you will notthe able to execute HDD-CLEAR from servicemode.1. If possible, ask the user to back up the addressbook data using the RUI.2. From service mode, start download mode; then,execute full formatting using the SST and re-installthe system software (System, Language, RUI).Thereafter, turn off and the back on the mainpower.*7 02 A file system error has occurred. This type of error is highly rare.1. Using TYPE-TYPE=1, 2, 3, 5, execute HDD-CLEAR. Thereafter, turn off and then back on thepower.2. The system software is designed so that a recoverysession will not run for the boot partition unlessyou use safe mode in combination with the SST.1. Start up in safe mode, and execute fullformatting using the SST and re-install the systemsoftware (System, Language, RUI). Thereafter,turn off and then on the main power.2. If the symptom still exits after the foregoing,suspect a fault on the HDD, and replace the HDDand re-install the system software.*9 03 There is poor contact of the HDD, ora v.x Works system error hasoccurred.1. Check the cable and power supply connectors.2. If the symptom still exits after the foregoing,start up in safe mode, and execute full formattingusing the SST and re-install the system software(System, Language, RUI). Thereafter, turn off andthen back on the main power.3. If the symptom still exits after the foregoing,suspect a fault on the HDD, and replace the HDDand re-install the system software.*10 11,21 The HDD has poor contact. This type of error is highly rare in relation to read/write operations.1.
