8-27When the Duplex Unit Is Not Installed Properly8TroubleshootingWhen the Duplex Unit Is Not Installed ProperlyIf the duplex unit supplied with this printer is not installed properly, the message<0F OPT.CONN.ERR.> appears in the display.Install the duplex unit properly using the following procedure.IMPORTANTTo install the duplex unit properly, remove it once. When you remove the duplex unit, thedata being printed will be deleted because you have to turn the power of the printer OFF.Print the data again after installing the duplex unit properly.1 Turn the power of the printer OFF.If you are using a hard disk, turn the printer OFF after performing a shutdownusing the RESET menu.If you are not using a hard disk, make sure that the (Job) indicator is off andthat the printer is not printing by checking the display.
