5-14The Printing Environment5Menu Functions and Menu OperationNOTEHARD RESET is displayed after you keep holding down [OK] 3 seconds or more whenSOFT RESET is displayed in the display.CANCEL JOB MenuThis section describes the function of the CANCEL JOB menu and the operatingprocedure for it.CANCEL JOB Menu FunctionsThe CANCEL JOB menu allows you to cancel only the job currently being receivedor processed.Pressing the (Cancel Job) key and [OK] on the control panel while the job youwant to cancel is being processed starts the cancel job process.IMPORTANT• Cancel the job while the printer is processing the data (While the (Job) indicator is onor blinking). No job is canceled by pressing the (Cancel Job) key when the (Job)indicator is off.• The data that has already been processed and is being printed (started to be fed) cannotbe canceled. In this case, the next print data may be canceled.• When there is any print data sent from a printer driver other than that for this printer,multiple data may be canceled.NOTEWhen canceling a job, you may not be able to cancel the job even if <03 CANCELINGJOB> is displayed. The secure print job before entering the password and the job to bestored in the box cannot be canceled. Delete the secure print job before entering thepassword and the job to be stored in the box with the Remote UI.
