6-26Printing Environment Settings6SETUP Menu SettingsINVLDPAPER TRAYOFF*, ONSpecifies what the printer does when paper that is the same size as the papersize of the received data is not loaded in the selected paper source.If OFF is specified, a message that prompts you to replace the paper in the papercassette appears, and the printer stops printing.If ON is specified, the printer feeds paper from the multi-purpose tray. If the size ofthe paper loaded in the multi-purpose tray is different from the paper size of thereceived data, a message that prompts you to replace the paper in themulti-purpose tray appears, and the printer stops printing. When no paper isloaded in the multi-purpose tray, or the multi-purpose tray runs out of paper, amessage that informs you of the tray's paper-out condition appears, and theprinter stops printing.NOTEIf ON is specified for this item, the settings for TRAY in AUTO SELECTION (See thenext item) and TRAY PRIORITY (See the previous item) are ignored, and theprinter feeds paper from the multi-purpose tray when paper that is the same size asthe paper size of the received data is not loaded in the selected paper source.AUTO SELECTIONTRAY ....................................
