Perform this operationwhen the problem is not solved by executing QUICK FORMAT.IMPORTANT• If the message appears when STD FORMAT is executed,the hard disk is not formatted.• When performing STD FORMAT, remove all the interface cables (the LAN cable,USB cable, and printer cable) connected to this printer.• While STD FORMAT is being executed, is displayed in thedisplay. Wait for a moment until the format is completed.NOTEThis item is displayed only when an optional hard disk is installed.SP.PRINT MODE■ COATED PAPEROFF*, ONSpecify the setting for this item according to the type of the coated paper to beused.• OFF: Specify when printing coated paper of 105 to 120 g/m2 .• ON: Specify when printing coated paper of 121 to 160 g/m2 .■ CURL ADJUSTMENTOFF*, ONWhen printed paper curls (the printed side curls outward), specify whether thecurl should be straightened out.• OFF: The curl of the printed paper is not straightened out.• ON: The curl of the printed paper is straightened out. By doing so, you mayimprove the printout results.IMPORTANTIf continuous printing is performed with this item set to ON, the printing speed maydrop.
