If XSA is enabledat the machine, you cannot enable Foreign Device Interface or Network Accounting.Xerox Standard Accounting can be enabled via the CentreWare Internet Service.Each machine supports a maximum of:• 500 unique XSA User IDs• 250 General Accounts• 250 Group AccountsAll User IDs must be assigned to one or more Group Accounts.NOTE: The XSA settings and account data are stored in the machine. It is stronglyrecommended that you back-up the settings and data regularly using the Cloningprocedure available through the Internet Services screens. Should the machine lose yourXSA data and settings you can restore them from the file produced by the Cloning process.Information ChecklistBefore starting the Installation procedure, please ensure that the following items areavailable and/or the tasks have been performed:1. Ensure that your Xerox machine is configured on the network.2. TCP/IP and HTTP protocols must be enabled on the machine so that the machineweb browser can be accessed.Enable Xerox Standard Accounting in CentreWare Internet ServicesNOTE: You must first create a default Group Account (See Create a Group Account onpage 116) before you can enable XSA or create User Accounts.1. At your Workstation, open the web browser, enter the TCP/IP Address of the machinein the Address bar.2. Press [Enter].3. Click on the [Properties] tab.4. Select the [General Setup] link.5. Select the [Xerox Standard Accounting] link.6. Select the [Manage Accounting] link.The first time you use XSA, you must log in as the Machine Administrator. Select[Login as Machine Administrator] and type the User name and Password for theAdministrator’s account. The default is admin and 1111.7. Click on the [Enable Accounting] button.8. The “Enabling Accounting will require a user account to use the machine...” pop upbox will appear. Click [OK] to close box.
