Test Network Accounting on page 111OverviewNetwork Accounting provides the ability to manage usage of the machine with detailed costanalysis capabilities. Print, Scan, Server Fax, and copy jobs are tracked at the machine andstored in a job log. Users must enter their accounting IDs to access the machine, whichallows information about the jobs performed as recorded in a job log.The machine requires the Feature Enablement Key to be inserted and network access to aXerox-certified Network Accounting third party software solution. Refer to your Xerox SalesRepresentative for further information.CentreWare Print and Fax Drivers are required to be installed on workstations. The User isprompted for User and Account ID information when submitting jobs to the machine.The job log information can be compiled at the accounting server and formatted intoreports by the Administrator.Information ChecklistBefore starting the Installation procedure, please ensure that the following items areavailable and/or the tasks have been performed:1. Ensure that the machine is fully functioning on the network prior to installation.2. Locate the Network Accounting Feature Enablement Key.Contact your Xerox Sales Representative if you do not have the Feature EnablementKey. This Feature Enablement Key contains the License Agreement and Kit CodeNumber to enable the feature.3. TCP/IP and HTTP protocols must be enabled on the machine so that the machineweb browser can be accessed.
