MAXimum The source function to which this setting applies:• Current: CURRent• Voltage: VOLTage The function to which the limit applies:• Current: I• Voltage: V The limit:• Current: 10 nA to 10.5 A• Voltage: 2 mV to 105 VDetailsThis command sets the source limit for pulse outputs. The Model 2461 cannot source pulse levelsthat exceed this limit. The values that can be set for this command are limited by the setting for the overvoltage protectionlimit. Also, if an interlock is not installed, the values are limited. This value can also be limited by the measurement range. If a specific measurement range is set, thelimit must be more than 1 percent of the measurement range. If you set the measurement range to beautomatically selected, the measurement range is selected based on the pulse and bias limits. If you change the source range to a level that is not appropriate for this limit, the instrument changesthe source limit to a limit that is appropriate to the range and a warning is generated.Limits are absolute values.
