MAXimum The source function to which this setting applies:• Current: CURRent• Voltage: VOLTage Current: −7.35 A to 7.35 AVoltage: −105 V to 105 VDetailsThis command sets the output level of the voltage or current source. If the output is on, the new levelis sourced immediately. The sign of the source level dictates the polarity of the source. Positive values generate positivevoltage or current from the high terminal of the source relative to the low terminal. Negative valuesgenerate negative voltage or current from the high terminal of the source relative to the low terminal. If a manual source range is selected, the level cannot exceed the specified range. For example, if thevoltage source is on the 2 V range, you cannot set the voltage source amplitude to 3 V. When autorange is selected, the amplitude can be set to any level supported by the instrument because it willselect the correct range automatically when pulsing.ExampleSOUR:FUNC VOLTSOUR:VOLT 1Set the instrument to source voltage and setit to source 1 V.Also see:SOURce[1]::RANGe (on page 6-97):SOURce[1]::RANGe:AUTO (on page 6-98)
