If there are cut sheets or printedsheets still on the platen, remove them first.Importantz If printing banners or other long sizes, the paper mayreach the floor after printing and the printing surfacebecome dirty. Wipe the floor beforehand using a cleancloth or paper.z If using roll media, wear clean cloth gloves whenhandling the media to protect the print surface.Notez The platen may be fouled with ink so clean inside thetop cover before you switch to printing on a large size.(→ P.4-11)z For more details about media that can be loaded in theroll holder, please refer to “Media You Can Use”.(→ P.2-2)1 Open the top cover, and lift out the ejection guide.Importantz Do not touch any areas other than those indicated. Yourhands could get dirty or this could damage the printer.2 If there is any roll media still present, rotatethe top of the holder stopper towards theback, then rewind the media onto the roll andremove the roll holder.3 Push the holder stopper lever (a) towards theoutside to unlock the stopper, then pull outthe holder stopper and remove the rollmedia.Importantz Store unused roll media in its original package.
