Head Cleaning A:Execute Head Cleaning A when printing appearsuneven, or when the printhead is dirty. This cleaningmethod consumes the least amount of ink. HeadCleaning A requires approximately 90 seconds. Head Cleaning B:Execute Head Cleaning B if no ink is coming out of theprinthead or if Head Cleaning A did not correct theproblem. Head Cleaning B requires approximately 3mins. 30 seconds.Printhead Cleaning ProcedureFollow this procedure to clean the printhead. The procedureis almost the same for each method.If printing does not improve after executing Head CleaningA once, execute Head Cleaning B. If Head Cleaning B doesnot correct the problem, repeat Head Cleaning B two orthree times. If the printer operation does not recover afterrunning Cleaning B, the printhead may have reached theend of its service life.
