Freezing the input signalsThe input signals can be frozen and used.While signals are frozen, the tally signals of the correspondinginput will not be output.Setting freeze1 On the Input sub menu, use [F2] to select the input tobe set using the Select item. Input signal settings”.2 Use [F1] to display the Freeze sub menu.3 Use [F2] to select the freeze method using the Selectitem.Frame The images are frozen frame by frame.Field The images are frozen field by field.This is used to freeze moving images.With interlace signals, however, diagonallines and moving parts appear jagged.Frame or Field can also be selected while an image isfrozen.4 Press the [F3] to freeze the input image or cancel thefreeze.If the [F3] is pressed while the display is “Off”, the videosignal is frozen, and the display is set to “On”.If the [F3] is pressed while the display is “On”, the videosignal freezing is canceled, and the display is set to“Off”.The “F” mark appears in front of the name of thematerial when the signals set for output of multi viewdisplays are frozen. When the unit is used with the frame synchronizerfunction OFF, the output images may be disturbed whenfreezing is executed, but the frozen images will not beadversely affected. If, when the switcher is used with the frame synchronizerfunction at OFF, “On” is set as the freeze setting, theframe synchronizer function will be automaticallyswitched to ON.2-1-5. Setting the material namesMaterial names can be given to the input signals.These names can be selected from the default settings oruser settings.1 On the Input sub menu, use [F2] to select the input tobe set using the Select item.
