511. Basic operations1-10-7. Registering the material selectionitemsSet whether or not to register the “Material selection” items ofthe buses. Refer to “1-10-1. Memory registration and recall items”.1 Press the e button to light its indicator, and display theShot Memory menu (or Event Memory menu).2 Use [F1] to display the XPT Disable sub menu.3 Use [F2] to set the BKGD item, [F3] to set the KEY item,[F4] to set the PinP1 item, and [F5] to set the PinP2item.Off The “Material selection” items are notregistered in the memories.On The “Material selection” items are registeredin the memories. When the [XPT DSBL] button is pressed, its indicatorlights in red.The materials of the “Material selection” items registeredin the buses are canceled.1-10-8. Setting effect dissolve(shot memory)Switching from the current image to the image or operationstored in the shot memory can be performed smoothly.1 Press the e button to light its indicator, and display theShot Memory menu.2 Use [F1] to display the Path sub menu.3 Use [F2] to set the effect used for switching the imagesusing the Effect item.Dissolve The images are switched using the dissolveeffect.Cut The images are switched using the cut effect. The dissolve effect duration is set in the EffectDissolve sub menu which is selected in the Timemenu.4 Use [F3] to set the PinP bus transition using the PinPBus item.Dissolve The PinP bus images are switched using thedissolve effect.Cut The PinP bus images are switched using thecut effect.5 Use [F4] to select the effect used for switching thecolors using the Hue Path item.The following colors are targeted by Hue. Colors of the color background Colors of the borders Colors of the edges Colors of the fill matteShort The colors are changed toward less hue onthe vectorscope.Long The colors are changed toward more hue onthe vectorscope.CW The Hue is changed clockwise on thevectorscope.CCW The Hue is changed counterclockwise on thevectorscope. Pressed number keys blink in green while the operationswitching is underway. When the operation switching has been completed, thepressed number key lights in amber. When the Effect item is changed from “Dissolve” to “Cut”while operation is being switched, the dissolve effect isreleased, and the images are switched to the images ofthe selected shot memory in an instant. When the PinP Bus item is changed from “Dissolve” to“Cut” while operation is being switched, the dissolveeffect is released, and the PinP images are instantlyswitched to the PinP images of the selected shotmemory. During the operation switching, the operation of the faderlever is canceled. During the operation switching, other stored operationscannot be recalled. When initiating PinP1/2 transitions, the switching processis not stored in the memory.
