Information you specify thisway is recorded in image properties when you shoot, and it is used whenyou manage images by shooting date or print images showing the date.1 Turn the camera on.● Press the power button.● The [Date/Time] screen is displayed.2 Set the date and time.● Press the [ ][ ] buttons to choose anoption.● Press the [ ][ ] buttons or turn the [ ]dial to specify the date.● When finished, press the [ ] button.3 Specify your home time zone.● Press the [ ][ ] buttons to choose yourhome time zone.3 Check the card’s write-protect taband insert the memory card.● Recording is not possible on memorycards with a write-protect tab when thetab is in the locked position. Slide the tabto the unlocked position (1).● Insert the memory card with the label (2)facing as shown until it clicks into place.● Make sure the memory card is facing theright way when you insert it. Insertingmemory cards facing the wrong way maydamage the camera.4 Close the cover.● Lower the cover (1) and hold it down asyou slide it, until it clicks into the closedposition (2).● Look at the screen display for the number of shots and movielength that can be shot with the current card (= 23).Removing the Battery Pack and Memory CardRemove the battery pack.● Open the cover and press the batterylock in the direction of the arrow.● The battery pack will pop up.
