Theflash may strike the accessory. The flash will not fire at this time.● Do not open the LCD monitor upward when an accessory like anelectronic viewfinder or external flash is attached to the hot shoe.The monitor may strike the viewfinder or flash.● Do not disconnect the adapter or unplug the power cord whilethe camera is still on. This may erase your shots or damage thecamera.● Do not attach the adapter or adapter cord to other objects. Doingso could result in malfunction or damage to the product.Remote Control ShootingUse Remote Controller RC-6 (sold separately) to shoot pictures up toapprox. 5 meters (16 ft.) from the front of the camera.● Follow step 1 in “Using the Self-Timer”(= 40) and choose [ ].● Point the Remote Controller toward thecamera’s remote control sensor andpress the transmit button to shoot.● The picture is not taken until focus is achieved.● Fluorescent or LED lighting may cause incorrect operation of thecamera by triggering the shutter inadvertently. Try to keep thecamera away from such light sources.● If you point a remote controller for a TV set toward the cameraand operate it, it may cause incorrect operation of the camera bytriggering the shutter inadvertently.● The Remote Controller can also be used for shooting movies(= 58).
