Choose thespeed by pressing the [ ][ ] buttons orturning the [ ] dial.● For maximum brightness, press and hold the [ ] buttonfor at least one second when the shooting screen is displayedor when in single-image display. (This will override the [LCDBrightness] setting on the [ 2] tab.) To restore the originalbrightness, press and hold the [ ] button again for at leastone second or restart the camera.Power-Saving AdjustmentAdjust the timing of automatic camera and screen deactivation (AutoPower Down and Display Off, respectively) as needed (= 28).● Choose [Power Saving] on the [ 2] taband then press the [ ] button.● Select an item and press the [ ] button.Press the [ ][ ] buttons or turn the [ ]dial to change the setting and then press[ ] again.● To conserve battery power, you should normally choose [On] for[Auto Power Down] and [1 min.] or less for [Display Off].● The [Display Off] setting is applied even if you set [Auto PowerDown] to [Off].● These power-saving functions are not available when you haveset Eco Mode (= 139) to [On].
