Be careful whenerasing images, because they cannot be recovered. However, protectedimages (= 102) cannot be erased.Choosing a Selection Method1 Access the setting screen.● Press the [ ] button, and thenchoose [Erase] on the [ 1] tab(= 32).2 Choose a selection method.● Press the [ ][ ] buttons or turn the [ ]dial to choose a selection method, andthen press the [ ] button.● To return to the menu screen, press the[ ] button.Choosing Images Individually1 Choose [Select].● Following step 2 in “Choosing a SelectionMethod” (= 105), choose [Select] andpress the [ ] button.2 Choose an image.● Once you choose an image followingstep 2 in “Choosing Images Individually”(= 103), [ ] is displayed.● To cancel selection, press the [ ] buttonagain. [ ] is no longer displayed.Erasing ImagesStill Images MoviesYou can choose and erase unneeded images one by one. Be carefulwhen erasing images, because they cannot be recovered. However,protected images (= 102) cannot be erased.1 Choose an image to erase.● Press the [ ][ ] buttons or turn the [ ]dial to choose an image.2 Erase the image.● Press the [ ] button.● After [Erase?] is displayed, press the[ ][ ] buttons or turn the [ ] dial tochoose [Erase], and then press the [ ]button.● The current image is now erased.● To cancel erasure, press the [ ][ ]buttons or turn the [ ] dial to choose[Cancel], and then press the [ ] button.● Press the [ ] button when displaying an image with both RAWand JPEG files to select between [Erase ], [Erase JPEG] or[Erase + JPEG]. Select your preferred option to erase the files.● You can also erase the current image by touching [Erase] on thescreen in step 2.
