Onthe next screen, press the [ ][ ] buttonsor turn the [ ] dial to choose a setting,and then press the [ ] button to adjust it.Option DescriptionFlash ModeYou can select the flash mode to suit yourdesired flash shooting.● [E-TTL II flash metering] is the standardmode of EX-series Speedlites for automaticflash shooting.● The [Manual flash] mode is for setting theSpeedlite’s [Flash output level] yourself.● For information on other flash modes, refer toa compatible Speedlite’s instruction manual.Wireless Func.Wireless (multiple) flash shooting is available.When shooting with multiple flashes, you canalso set up the radio channel, optical channel,and master flash firing. For details on wirelessflash, refer to the instruction manual of theSpeedlite compatible with wireless flash.3 Choose shooting mode [ ], [ ],[ ], or [ ].● Flash settings can only be configured inthese modes. In other modes, the flashis adjusted and fired automatically asneeded.4 Configure the external flash.(= 155)● Keep cords (from the macro ring lite or macro twin lite, as well asthe off-camera shoe cord) away from flash heads.● When using a tripod, adjust the position of the legs to prevent theflash heads from coming into contact with the legs.● Depending on the position where you have attached the flashcontroller, it may come into contact with the LCD monitor. Toprevent this, adjust the position of attachment or the orientation ofthe controller, or adjust the angle of the monitor.● Settings for the built-in flash cannot be configured while aSpeedlite EX series flash is attached, because that setting screenis no longer accessible.● You can also access the setting screen by pressing the [ ] buttonfor at least one second.● 320EX only: Auto LED lighting is only available in low-light movierecording or in Movie mode. In this case, the [ ] icon is shown.● The AF-assist beam on the external flash will not fire. If usingSpeedlite 320EX (sold separately), the LED light may turn on toserve as an AF-assist beam.
