Applying a strong force tothe liquid crystal panel will cause unevenness of thescreen display, resulting in malfunction.Do not install the product to a place where theproduct is exposed to direct sunlight.• If the unit is exposed to direct sunlight even indoors, the temperature rise of the liquid crystal panel maycause malfunction.Required space for ventilation• Operation of this unit is guaranteed up to an ambienttemperature of 40 °C (104 °F). When installing theunit in a case or chassis, be sure to provide adequateventilation with a cooling fan or ventilation hole sothat the surrounding temperature (inside the case orchassis) including the temperature of the front surfaceof the liquid crystal panel can be kept at 40 °C(104 °F) or less.About the screws used when using a wall hangingbracket that conforms to VESA standardsInchmodelScrew pitch forinstallationDepth ofscrew holeScrew(quantity)98 800 mm × 500 mm 13 mm M8 (4)86 600 mm × 400 mm 13 mm M8 (4)Note for connectionRemoving and inserting the power cord andconnection cables• When the unit has been installed on the wall, if thepower cord and connection cables are difficult toremove and insert, make connections first beforeinstallation. Be careful not to allow the cables to beentangled. After installation is completed, insert thepower plug to the outlet. When usingBe careful of the movable structure of the powerindicator and remote control sensor.• As factory default, the power indicator and remotecontrol sensor are stored in the main unit. For normaluse, pull out the remote control sensor from the edgeside of the main unit by operating the lever on therear panel. Depending on the setup condition such aswhen using multi screen display of the multi display, store the remote control sensor in the main unit. (seepage 30)Depending on the temperature or humidityconditions, uneven brightness may be observed. This is not a malfunction.• This unevenness will disappear while applying currentcontinuously. If not, consult the distributor. If the Display is not going to be used for anyprolonged length of time, unplug the power supplyplug from the wall outlet.Picture noise may occur if you connect / disconnectthe cables connected to the input terminals youare currently not watching, or if you turn the powerof the video equipment on / off, but it is not amalfunction.Notes on Using Wired LANWhen setting up the Display at a place, whereelectric statistic occurs often, take a sufficientantistatic measure before start using.• When the Display is used at a location, where staticelectricity occurs often, such as on a carpet, a wiredLAN or DIGITAL LINK communication is disconnectedmore often. In that case, remove static electricityand the noise source that may cause problems withan antistatic mat, and re-connect the wired LAN orDIGITAL LINK.• In rare cases, the LAN connection is disabled dueto static electricity or noise. In that case, turn off thepower of the Display and the connected devices onceand then re-turn on the power. The Display may not work properly due to strongradio wave from the broadcast station or the radio.• If there is any facility or equipment, which outputsstrong radio wave, near the installation location, setup the Display at a location sufficiently far from thesource of the radio wave. Or, wrap the LAN cableconnected to the DIGITAL LINK / LAN terminal byusing a piece of metal foil or a metal pipe, of which isgrounded at both ends.
