Press any key exceptthe key CLEAR; and then the backlight of the LCD screen is turned on1. If the IED detects afault, the fault message will appear in a pop-up screen. At the same time, the “TRIP”2 LED islit.1Note: If another fault occurs during the period of time for which the previous fault pop-up screen, is displayed, the previous fault information will be overwritten by thenew fault on the pop-up screen. Press the key CANCEL to remove the pop-upscreen for “Latest Fault” to return to the previous screen.2Note: Press the key CLEAR to turn off the LED.(ii) Main-menu and Sub-menu Main-menuIf LCD screen is turned off, press any key, except the key CLEAR. “Main-Menu" willappear on the LCD screen (see the left of Figure 11.2-1). To go to the next level ofhierarchy, press the key ►. Sub-menuAn example of setting the sub-menu screen is shown in the right of Figure 11.2-1. Byusing the key ▼ and the key ▲, the user can move the cursor downward or upwardto view all of the items. By using the keys ◄ ►, the user can return to a previouslevel of hierarchy or go to the next level of hierarchy. Screen structureThe screen is composed of a title area and a data area. The title area is fixed on thetop two lines. The first line displays the screen title. The second line on the left-handside displays local time, whereas the right-hand side displays either the current linenumber, cursor position number and the maximum page number, or the item number.For example, the display “2/4” means the current cursor position, which is at thesecond item of a maximum of four items.
