Making CopiesEdge EraseThis feature allows you to “refresh” the quality of an original thathas become frayed at the edges, has punched holes, has staple marksor other extraneous marks.Border Erase adds equal amounts of white space on all edges ofyour copies. The default is 0.1 inches. All marks or defects on theborder are deleted. Use the scroll buttons to adjust the amounterased.The Edge Erase option (screen pictured above) allows you to adjustthe amount erased for each of the four edges independently. Thedefault is 0.1 inches. Make your selections, using the scroll arrows.Use 0.7 inch on the appropriate edge to erase drill hole marks fromyour copies.For both Border Erase and Edge Erase, the range to be erased foreach edge can be adjusted in 0.05 inch increments up to 2.0 inches.The amount to be erased extends across the entire width/height ofthe page.If producing duplex copies, the left and right erase values will bemirrored for each side. For example:The Print to Edge feature allows images to be printed to the edgeof the output stock.
