Page 13 - 4 Xerox Document Centre Reference GuideGeneral Stapling GuidelinesThe following information is provided for machines with a Finisher.Dimensions that can be stapled:Making Stapled Copies:If making stapled copies, orient your originals so that the corner youwant single-stapled is in the upper left rear corner of the DocumentFeeder (as you face the machine).Weights that can be stapledThe Finisher can staple a maximum of 50 sheets of 20 lb. paper. Thetable below lists the maximum staple capability for other paperweights.When the Top Tray of the Finisher is usedThe Top Tray holds up to 250 non-collated, non-stapled sheets.Copies that are less than 6.7 inches long in the feed direction or 8inches long in the cross-feed direction will go to the Top Tray ratherthan the Main Tray. Purged sheets will also go to the Top Tray.
