Xerox Document Centre Reference Guide Page 9 - 419. ToolsSystem ToolsResetting the Feed Roll Cartridge CountersNOTE The Paper Feed Roll counter must be reset whenever a Feed Roll isreplaced. If the counters are not reset, paper misfeeds will likelyoccur from the paper tray with the newly changed Feed Roll.To reset the counters follow the instructions below:1. Press the Access button.2. Enter the Access login password. Press the Go to Tools button.3. Select More to access the second tools screen.4. Select Supplies Management.5. Select Feed Roll Cartridge Replacement. The followingscreen should appear. This screen must be showing to reset aFeed Roll counter.6. Open a tray or the Document Feeder and change the cartridge.Replace the Feed Roll at the top of the list because this is the onewith the shortest remaining life.7. Close the tray or Document Feeder in which you replaced thecartridge. A pop-up screen will appear.8. Confirm the Cartridge replacement on the pop-up screen. Thiswill reset the counter.9. Select Close.10. Select Exit Tools.11. Return the old Feed Roll Cartridge to Xerox.
