Each tray can be Dedicated to a specific type of stock, madeFully Adjustable by all users or, on a DC model machine, adjustableby Size Only based on the needs of your environment.Paper AttributesThe Document Centre allows four attributes to be programmed atthe machine. These attributes include:l Size - This is the physical dimensions of the media. Themachine will automatically detect this.l Orientation - Paper will be fed into the machine either LongEdge Feed (LEF) or Short Edge Feed (SEF). The machinewill automatically detect this.l Color - The color of the paper stock loaded in the tray (e.g.red, yellow, or clear).l Type - Describes exactly what type of media is loaded in thetray (e.g. letterhead, hole-punched, or transparencies).Tray SettingsIn a Dedicated tray the Machine Administrator assigns the size,orientation, color and type of the tray contents. These selections areonly changeable by someone with Machine Administrator access.When a Dedicated tray is opened, a pop-up screen will inform theuser which specific paper must be used in the tray.In a Fully Adjustable tray the size, orientation, color, and type of thetray contents must be programmed by the user. Each time the tray isclosed, the user must confirm the tray contents.In a Size Only tray, available only on the DC Model, the user canadjust size and orientation of the stock. The tray will function justlike those in typical light lens copiers. Type and color are assumedto be the default stock.
