55Configure the settings relating to NTP/SNMP synchronization[NTP/SNMP]The settings to synchronize the system clock with the NTP (Network Time Protocol) and SNMP (Simple Net-work Management Protocol) server can be configured on this tab.■ NTP setup[Time adjustment]Select "On" or "Off" to determine whether or not toadjust the time according to the NTP server.On: Adjusts the time automatically.Off: Does not adjust the time automatically.Default: OffImportant:• Inaccuracy of time stamp on recorded images dueto inaccurate clock adjustment of this productmay cause operational problems. When the sys-tem operation requires an accurate time setting,use the NTP auto time adjustment using an NTPserver.[Primary server address][Secondary server address]Enter the address or name of the NTP server whenadjusting the time using the NTP server.The name of the NTP server is available only when"Manual" is selected for "DNS" on the [Basic] tabaccessed from the "Advanced setup" menu - the"Network" page of the setup menu.Enter up to 255 alphanumeric characters includinghyphens (-) and periods (.).Note:• Entering "http://" is not necessary if the servername is entered.Important:• It is possible to run the recorder as an NTP serverto be referred by the cameras.
