170Play recorded imagesDisplay camera images recorded on the recorder’s hard disk. There are 2 ways to play recorded images as fol-lows. Play image recorded at a designated date & time. Search and play recorded images. Playback operationcan be made while recording.Step 1Click the [HDD] tab on the top page of the operationwindow.→ The [HDD] tab will be displayed.Step 2Click the [Play] button.→ Playback of a recorded image will be performed.The "Playback" indication and the "Step 1" indi-cation will be displayed on the status displayarea.Playback will start from the point at which the lastplayback was stopped (date & time).Step 3Click the [Stop] button on the [HDD] tab.→ "Playback" and "Step 1" will disappear from thestatus display area, and playback will stop. Liveimages from the camera will be displayed on theimage display area.Note:• When displaying images on a 1-screen, audioassigned to the camera from which images arecurrently being displayed will be heard. When dis-playing images on a multiscreen, audio assignedto the camera from which images are displayedon the upper left corner will be heard.• When starting playback for the first time afterlogin, playback will start from a point around 10seconds before the latest recorded image.While recording, the playback starts 10 secondsprior to the current time. Depending on therecording settings, images may be played backmore than 10 seconds before.• When both a web browser and the viewer soft-ware are active, playback of audio may not beperformed correctly. To play audio correctly, useeither the web browser or the viewer software andclose the other.• When load to be processed is too heavy for therecorder (such as when many cameras are con-nected, images (live/playback) are displayed onmany windows (segments)), playback speed maybecome slow or playback may stop for a while.• When displaying images on a multiscreen, play-back will be performed while skipping the actualrecording.• When playing images recorded at a higher framerate and images recorded at a lower frame ratetogether on a multiscreen, there will be a wideninggap between the displayed times.• Playback images and audio may sometimes notbe synchronized exactly.• The camera image can be changed by clicking the[Cam. select] tab and the camera title during play-back.• It is possible to switch 1-screen to a multi-screenduring playback by clicking the [Multiscreen] but-ton.• When clicking a camera title on the image dis-played on a multiscreen, images from the camerawhose camera title is clicked will be displayed ona 1-screen.• The playback video may temporary stop or theimage may not be displayed if the vicinity of thecurrent time is continuously being displayed. If thedata is played back in a multi-screen, video maytemporarily stop or the image may not be dis-played a part of the camera.[Operation via PC web browser]
