7-8 Sending Faxes Chapter 7Cancelling SendingFollow this procedure if you want to stop sending a document before transmission iscompleted:■ If you are sending a document using manual sending via thehandset:■ If you are sending a document using memory sending:1 Press Stop.• The transmission is cancelled.• The FAX prints an ERROR TXREPORT (1 p. 11-4).1 Press Stop.• The FAX asks you to confirm that youwant to cancel sending.2 Press T to cancel sending.• Sending is not cancelled until youpress T.• If you change your mind and want tocontinue sending, press #.• To cancel transmission of a documentwaiting to be sent (e.g. delayed sending,between rediallings), you will have todelete it from memory (1 pp. 7-17, 9-9).• The FAX prints an ERROR TXREPORT (1 p. 11-4).NoteWhen you cancel sending, you may need to open the operation panel to remove thedocument from the ADF (1 p. 13-2).CANCEL?
