The copyfunction is useful for duplicating an existing flight planbefore making changes. If you want to save a flightplan currently located in “flight plan 0”, be sure tocopy it to an open catalog location (1-19) before theflight plan is cancelled, overwritten or erased.To copy a flight plan to another flight plan cata-log location:1a. From the active flight plan page, press MENUto display the active flight plan optionswindow.or1b. From the flight plan catalog, press the smallright knob to activate the cursor, turn thelarge right knob to highlight the flight planyou wish to copy, then press MENU to displaythe flight plan catalog options.2. Turn the large right knob to highlight “CopyFlight Plan?” and press ENT.3. By default, the next empty catalog location willbe offered. To select a different location, turnthe large right knob to select the flight plannumber, use the small and large right knobsto enter a different number and press ENT.4. With “Yes?” highlighted, press ENT to copythe flight plan.Deleting Flight PlansDelete Flight Plan? allows you to remove theselected flight plan from memory. Deleting a flight plandoes not delete the individual waypoints containedin the flight plan from the database or user waypointmemory. Once you are finished with a flight plan, itcan easily be deleted from the flight plan catalog or theactive flight plan page.To delete a flight plan:1a.
