Turn the large right knob to highlight thefirst reference waypoint (REF WPT) field, ifyou wish to change the reference waypoint.Otherwise, continue turning the large rightknob to highlight the radial (RAD) or distance(DIS) field, as desired.4. Use the small and large right knobs tochange the identifier — if desired — of thereference waypoint. The reference waypointcan be an airport, VOR, NDB, intersection oranother user waypoint. Press ENT to acceptthe selected identifier.5. The cursor moves to the radial (RAD) field. Usethe small and large right knobs to changethe radial from the reference waypoint, ifdesired. Press ENT to accept the selectedradial.6. The cursor moves to the distance (DIS) field. Usethe small and large right knobs to changethe distance from the reference waypoint tothe new user waypoint, if desired. Press ENTto accept the selected distance.7. The cursor moves to the “Modify?” action field.Press ENT to modify the waypoint.8. Press the small right knob to remove theflashing cursor.NOTE: If you attempt to modify or delete awaypoint which is currently a direct-to waypointor the current “from” or “to” waypoint in theactive flight plan, the 400W-series unit will alertyou with the “Can’t change an active waypoint”or “Waypoint is active and can’t be deleted” mes-sage. You must ifrst cancel the direct-to or removethe waypoint(s) from the active flight plan beforemodifying or deleting the waypoint(s).User Waypoint Page OptionsThe following user waypoint page options are avail-able by pressing the MENU key:View User Waypoint List? displays a list of alluser waypoints currently stored in memory.To view a list of all user waypoints:1.
