The flashing cursor highlights the runway sur-face field. Turn the small right knob to selectthe desired surface. The following options areavailable:• Any surface• Hard surfaces only• Hard / Soft surfaces• Water landings only3. Press ENT to accept the runway surface selec-tion.4. The flashing cursor moves to the minimumrunway length field. To enter a different mini-mum runway length, use the small and largeright knobs to enter the desired length. PressENT when finished.NOTE: Exercise caution when changing the Near-est Airport Criteria. Remember, by excluding cer-tain surface types or shorter runway lengths, youmay be excluding airports from the list that aremore than adequate for an emergency landing!SBAS SelectionTo enable WAAS operation, in the Setup 2 pageselect the SBAS item and then select WAAS. If WAASis disabled, the unit will not be able to fly WAASapproaches (LP, LPV, LNAV/VNAV, or LNAV+V).If WAAS was previously disabled, it may take sev-eral minutes to achieve a 3D-Diff fix after re-enablingWAAS.1. Select “SBAS Selection” from the Setup 2 Pageand press ENT.To enable WAAS operation, select the “SBASSelection”.2. The flashing cursor highlights the WAAS statusselection. Turn the small right knob to allowOn/Off selection.Setup 2
