Adirect-to can be performed from any page displayinga single waypoint identifier (such as the WPT pagesfor airports and navaids) by simply pressing direct-toand ENT. For pages that display a list of waypoints(e.g., the nearest airport page), you must highlight thedesired waypoint with the cursor before pressing thedirect-to key.To select an on-screen waypoint (other than themap page) as a direct-to waypoint:1. If a single airport, navaid or user waypoint isdisplayed on-screen: press direct-to, thenpress ENT twice.2. If a list of waypoints is displayed on-screen:press the small right knob to activate thecursor, turn the large right knob to highlightthe desired waypoint, then press direct-tofollowed by ENT twice.Direct-to waypoints may also be selected fromthe map page, by panning to the desired locationand pressing direct-to and ENT (twice). If no air-port, navaid or user waypoint exists at the desiredlocation, a waypoint named “+MAP” will auto-matically be created at the location of the panningpointer.To select a direct-to waypoint from the map page:1. From the map page, press the small rightknob to display a panning pointer.2. Turn the small and large right knobs to placethe panning pointer at the desired location.3. If the panning pointer is placed on an existingairport, navaid or user waypoint, the waypointname will be highlighted. Press direct-to andthen ENT twice to navigate to the waypoint.4.
