If the copier is in the middle of operation,q It turns on the “Jam indicator”.w Turn off and on the power switch removing the jam.e The copier runs a self check. It is reset if the result is good. If the result is not good,it enters down state*, indicating ‘E5XX’; on the control panel.2. If the copier is not operating,q Jam indicator indicates.w When the power has been turnd off and then on again, it runs a self check. it is resetif the result is good. If the result is not good, it enters down state*, indicating ‘E5XX’;on the control panel.• Down Stateq It indicates ‘E5XX’.w When the sorter has been detached**, it is ready for operation unless a moderequiring the sorter is selected.n The copier will be reset if the result of a self check after the power has been turnedoff and then on again is good even in down state. (This is with the sorter connectedto the copier.)* State in which an error code is indicated.** Turn off the joint sensor.
