84 Keysight N9923-90001 User’s GuideCAT (Cable and Antenna Test) ModeCAT Mode Settings—Press Enter.Figure 5-1 Nominal Output PowerCoupled FrequencyThis setting, especially useful for a Return Loss & DTF measurement, allowsboth measurements to have different frequency ranges.How to set Coupled FrequencyWith a Return Loss & DTF measurement present:— Press Meas Setup 4.— Select the DTF measurement (Tr2) using the arrows.— Then choose from the following:— Coupled Freq ON - Both the Return Loss and DTF traces have the samefrequency range settings.— Coupled Freq OFF (default setting) - Both traces are allowed to haveindividual frequency range settings. When set to OFF:—The Return Loss measurement frequency settings are made in theusual manner. Learn how at “Frequency Range” on page 79. When anew Start or Stop frequency is selected, Coupled Frequency isautomatically set to OFF.—The DTF measurement is made using the frequencies as determined bythe DTF Frequency Mode setting. Learn more in “DTF MeasurementSettings” on page 91.Nominal here means: a general, descriptive term or design parameter. It isnot tested and not covered by the product warranty.In FieldFox’s with FW bottom right side of the display indicates a range of low and high powervalues. Your actual measured output power could be a little lower or alittle higher. Refer to Figure 5-1.If you have the USB power sensor feature (Option 302) you can measurethe actual output power for your measurement. Refer to page Chapter 8,“Power Meter (USB) Mode.”
