Turn the large right knob to hghlght the“On”/”Off” field next to the desred arspacetype.3. Turn the small right knob to select “On” or“Off”, as desred. Press ENT to accept theselecton.4. To change the alttude buffer, turn the largeright knob to hghlght the “Alttude Buffers”field. Use the small and large right knobsto enter the desred buffer dstance. Press ENTwhen finshed.NOTE: When an approach has been loaded intothe active flight plan, airspace alert messageswill be disabled within 30 NM of the destinationairport.CDI Scale / AlarmsTo change the CDI scale:1. Select “CDI / Alarms” from the Setup 1 page.2. The flashng cursor hghlghts the “SelectedCDI” field. Turn the small right knob to selectthe desred CDI scale. The selected scale andany lower scale settngs wll be used durngthe varous phases of flght.3. Press ENT to accept the selected scale. The“System CDI” field wll dsplay the CDI scalecurrently n use. The “System CDI” settng maydffer from the “Selected CDI” dependng uponthe current phase of flght.NOTE: The CDI scale is always measured in nauti-cal miles, regardless of the current distance unitsof measure selected on the units/mag var page.
