One-time, periodic, and event-based messagesare allowed. One-time messages will appear oncethe timer expires and will reappear each time the400W-series unit is powered on, until the messageis deleted. Periodic messages will automaticallyreset to the original timer value, once the messageis displayed. Event-based messages do not use atimer, but rather a specific date and time.Fuel PlanningTo perform fuel planning operations:1. Select “Fuel Plannng” from the flght plannngpage.2. The current fuel plannng “mode” s dsplayedat the top of the page: “POINT TO POINT” or“FPL” (for a flght plan). To change the mode, press MENU to dsplay an optons wndow forthe other mode, then press ENT to accept theother mode. The “Flight Plan?” option allows you toselect the numbered flight plan for fuel plan-ning. The “Change Fields?” option allowsyou to select fuel information for each fieldas desired.3a. For pont-to-pont fuel plannng, turn the smalland large right knobs to enter the dentfierof the “from” waypont. Once the waypont’sdentfier s entered, press ENT to accept thewaypont. The flashng cursor moves to the“to” waypont. Agan, turn the small andlarge right knobs to enter the dentfier ofthe “to” waypont and press ENT to acceptthe waypont.or,
