4-2 Using the Desktop Manager Chapter 4Desktop Manager: an OverviewThe MultiPASS Desktop Manager is a full-featured Windows applicationthat enables you to use your MultiPASS printer from your computer.With the Desktop Manager, you can:o Send and receive faxes from and to your computero Scan images into your computero Store faxes and scanned images in folders on your computero Import or export a documento Manipulate stored documents by removing a page; splitting ormerging it with another document; editing it by cropping, rotating orflipping; adjusting the document brightness, contrast, size, or imagetype; or by printing the documento Annotate a stored documento Set up an address book for individuals or groups to whom yourepeatedly send faxeso Design your own fax cover pageo Define system options for the MultiPASS printero Complete other tasks such as phoning an individual with yourMultiPASS printer handset (if installed) and monitoring the status ofyour Desktop Manager jobs.To start the MultiPASS Desktop Manager:1.
