This allows you to take advantage of lowerlate-night long-distance rates offered by some telephone companies.1 Load the document face up into the document tray.See Loading documents, p. 3-2.You can set the scanning resolution and contrast (see p. 5-1).2 Press [Function].DPress [Send Options].3 Use [3] or [4] to select DELAYED TX.DPress [Start/Copy].4 Enter the desired sending time (24-hour clock)using the numeric buttons.• Set the time using the 24-hour clock system.Precede single digits with a zero.Example: 3:00 p.m. = 15:00• Press [Clear] if you need to re-enter the time.• You can also use [3] or [4] to move the cursor.5 Press [Start/Copy].6 Enter the receiving party’s fax number.• You can enter the receiving party’s fax number using thenumeric buttons, one-touch speed dialling, coded speeddialling, or directory dialling (see pp. 5-5, 5-6).• If you use the numeric buttons, press [Start/Copy] afterentering the number to register it before going on to the nextnumber.7 Press [Start/Copy] twice.The fax scans the document into memory.8 When the set time comes, the fax dials and sendsthe document.SET TIME 15:00
