It is compact and combinesalarm signalling, remote servicing and integrated facilities over Ethernet LAN and/or WAN.The module connects to 10 Base-T Ethernet networks supporting UDP/IP and TCP/IPprotocols, and has the following features: Full alarm signalling on SIA Microtech protocol signalling with Event Monitoring Software Remote servicing via remote servicing softwareFigure 9 Ethernet module on mounting bracketNote: The position of components on the Ethernet PCB may vary with different hardwarerevisions.Configuring the moduleTo configure the module in the system, exit from engineer mode. It is allocated keypadaddress 15 (B). If the message XX Mod Added [<],[>] To View is displayed, the systemhas recognised the module. Press A or B to confirm that comm 4 has been added. If thismessage is not displayed or the Ethernet module is not on the list of added modules, then itis not communicating with the control panel.The flash rate of the red LED (LED 3) indicates module to panel communication status.Ethernet communicationThe green LED (LED 1) is lit when the module is connected to Ethernet.The amber LED (LED 2) flashes when the module is sending or receiving data.For further information refer to Ethernet module, Installation Instructions (II1-0080).
