Key telephone systems are not recommended because they send non-standard signals to individual telephones for ringing and special codes, which maycause a fax error.C. Power RequirementsThe power outlet should be a three-prong grounded receptacle (Single orDuplex). It should be independent from copiers, heaters, air conditioners, orany electric equipment that is thermostatically controlled. The rated value is120 volts and 15 amperes. The RJ11-C modular jack should be relativelyclose to the power outlet to facilitate installation.NOTICEThe Industry Canada label identifies certified equipment.
