Appendix B Using the MultiPASS L6000 as a Stand-alone Fax B-1Stand-alone FaxIf you plan to use the MultiPASS as a stand-alone fax, and you do notinstall the MultiPASS Desktop Manager, you must enter your name andfax number from the operator panel. If you choose to use the MultiPASSthis way, you will not be able to use its many features, such as speeddialing, PC faxing, or scanning. Canon recommends that you install theMultiPASS software as described in the Quick Start Guide.
