Pull on the plugitself.m Do not overload the electrical outlet where the MultiPASS is pluggedin.m For your safety, unplug the MultiPASS during electrical storms.m Lift the MultiPASS from the bottom only. Do not lift the unit by theoperator panel, front cover, or any of its trays.Routine MaintenanceYour MultiPASS requires little routine maintenance. Follow theseguidelines to keep your MultiPASS in good operating condition:m Before you clean the MultiPASS, be sure to print any faxes stored inmemory.m Do not use tissue paper, paper towels, or similar materials for cleaning;they can stick to the components or generate static charges.m Be sure to disconnect the power cord before cleaning the unit.m Lightly wipe the unit’s exterior with a clean, soft, lint-free clothmoistened with water or diluted dishwashing detergent solution.m Never use thinner, benzene, alcohol or any other organic solvent, as itmay damage the surface of the MultiPASS.GRIP HERE
