Connect between the COPY port on the WJ-HD500Band the COPY IN port on the 1st DVD Extension Unitwith the supplied (WJ-HDE510) SCSI cable.Plug the cable end with magnetic core into theCOPY port, and the other ends into the COPY INport.2. Connect between the EXT STORAGE port on theWJ-HD500B and the EXT IN port on the 1st DVDExtension Unit with the supplied (WJ-HDE510B)SCSI cable.Plug the cable end with magnetic core into the EXTSTORAGE port, and the other ends into the EXT INport.Repeat the connection steps for any subsequentextension units.The system can be expanded by up to 6 ExtensionUnits. To connect the other Extension Units, refer tothe operating instructions of each unit for furtherinformation. Switch Settings1. Set MODE switch #2 on the rear of the WJ-HD500B toON when connecting a DVD Extension Unit with anoptional HDD.2.
