102PLAYBACK OF BACKUP DATAThe stored images on the DVD-RAM disk for backup canbe played back on the Multiscreen Monitor.The procedures described below are for playing back theDVD-RAM disk.Note: To enable this function, the AUTO COPY(ALARM)and AUTO COPY(EMERGENCY) parameters on theDVD menu must be set to OFF.1. Insert the DVD-RAM disk to be played back into theDVD Drive Unit.2. Press the INDEX button to display the record list of theDisk Recorder on the Multiscreen Monitor as shownbelow.3. Press the EL-ZOOM button to replace the list with theDVD-RAM’s on the monitor.Pressing the INDEX button will show List or Thumbnail.4. Press the DISPLAY button to display the record list orthumbnails with the search (SEARCH) editing area asshown in the figure.5. Move the cursor to the desired position in the searchediting area by pressing the A or B button.6. Select the desired digit or month by pressing the + or- button.7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to edit the other positions.8. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start the search.A list of records including the most recent recording willappear on the monitor.9. Rotate the Shuttle Ring clockwise or counterclockwiseto move to the next or previous page of the list on themonitor.Rotate the JogDial clockwise or counterclockwise tomove the cursor to the record to be displayed on themonitor.10.
