If duplicate entries exist for the enteredfacility name or city, additional entries may be viewedby continuing to turn the small right knob during theselection process.FacilityNameIdentifier, Symboland Region Flight PlanFieldCityNearestAirportFieldTo select a direct-to destination by facility nameor city:1. Press the direct-to key. The select direct-towaypoint page will appear, with the waypointidentifier field highlighted.2. Turn the large right knob to highlight thefacility name (second line; see above) or thecity (third line; see above) field.3. Use the small and large right knobs to enterthe facility name or city location of the desireddestination waypoint. As you spell the facilityname or city, the 400W-series Spell’N’Findfeature will select the first entry in the databasebased upon the characters you have enteredup to that point.4. Continue turning the small right knob toscroll through any additional database listingsfor the selected facility name or city. You canalso scroll backwards with the small rightknob if you scroll past the desired waypoint.5. Press ENT to confirm the selected waypoint,and ENT to activate the direct-to function.To select the direct-to destination by facilityname (shown above) or city location (shownbelow), highlight the second or third line onthe direct-to waypoint page. Use the small andlarge right knobs to enter the facility name orcity. The identifier(s) for any matching entrieswill appear on the top line of the page.
