2 - NAV PAGES31Default Nav PageSelecting Desired On-Screen DataAt the bottom of the default NAV page you’ll findsix user-definable fields which display the data you’llneed as your flight progresses. By default these fieldsdisplay: distance to destination (DIS), desired track(DTK), bearing to destination (BRG), ground speed(GS), ground track (TRK) and estimated time en route(ETE). However, each of these fields can be custom-tailored to your preferences by selecting a differentdata item. Available data items include:• Bearing to destination (BRG)• Distance to destination (DIS)• Desired track (DTK)• En route safe altitude (ESA)• Estimated time of arrival (ETA)• Estimate time en route (ETE)• Fuel Flow (FLOW) (When Configured)• Ground speed (GS)• Minimum safe altitude (MSA)• Track angle error (TKE)• Ground track (TRK)• Vertical speed required (VSR)• Cross track error (XTK)If no flight plan or direct-to destination has beenselected only speed, track, altitude and minimumsafe altitude data may be displayed. All other datatypes will appear as blank lines—on the default NAVpage—until a destination is selected.To select a different data item for any data field:1. Starting with the default NAV page, press theMENU key to display an options menu.2. The “Change Fields?” option is already high-lighted, so press ENT to select this option.3. Use the large right knob to highlight the datafield you wish to change.4. Turn the small right knob to display the listof available data items. Continue turning thesmall right knob to select the desired dataitem from the list.5. Press ENT to select the desired data item andreturn to the default NAV page.6. Press the small right knob momentarily toremove the cursor from the page.
