Faxing132 WorkCentre 7500 Series Multifunction PrinterUser GuideBasic FaxingYou can send a fax in one of four ways: Embedded Fax: The document is scanned and sent directly to a fax machine. Server Fax: The document is scanned and sent through an Ethernet network to a fax server, whichsends the fax to a fax machine. Internet Fax: The document is scanned and emailed to a recipient. Faxing from your computer: The current print job is sent as a fax. For details, see the print driversoftware.To send a fax:1. Load your original documents: Use the document glass for single pages or paper that cannot be fed using the documentfeeder. Place the first page of the document face down, in the top left corner of the documentglass. Use the document feeder for multiple or single pages. Remove any staples and paper clips fromthe pages and place them face up in the document feeder.2. Press the Services Home button, then touch the appropriate fax: Fax scans the document and sends it directly to a fax machine. Server Fax scans the document and sends it through an Ethernet network to a fax server, whichsends the fax to a fax machine. Internet Fax scans the document and emails it to a recipient.3. Address the fax using one or more of the available options: Enter Number and Press Add Dialing Characters Address Book Speed Dial Fax Directory New Recipient4. On the Fax tab, adjust the available fax options as needed: 2-Sided Scanning Original Type Resolution Output Color5. Adjust additional fax options if required. The printer scans the pages and transmits the document when allpages have been scanned.
