43Configure the settings relating to the logs [Log]Click the [Log] tab on the "Basic" page. (☞ Pages 26 and 27: How to display/operate the setup menu)The settings relating to the log list can be configured in this section.■ AlarmSettings for the alarm log list can be performed.[Save logs]Select "On" or "Off" to determine whether to save thealarm logs.On: Alarm logs will be saved.Off: Alarm logs will not be saved.Default: OnNote:• When "H.264" is selected for "Recording format","On" or "Off" will automatically be selected for"Save logs" according to the setting of "Save trig-ger".• When "H.264" is selected for "Recording format"and when "Manual" or "Schedule" is selected for"Save trigger", alarm logs will not be saved.[Name of the destination directory for downloadedimages]Enter the name of the destination directory to whichimages associated with the logs are to be downloaded.For example, enter "C:\alarm" to designate the folder"alarm" under drive C.Available number of characters: 3 - 128 charactersAvailable characters: Alphanumeric characters, theslash (/), the backslash (\), the colon (:) and theunderscore (_).■ Manual/ScheduleConfigure the settings relating to manual saving orschedule saving of the log list.Select "On" or "Off" and designate the destinationfolder in the same manner as for "Alarm".Note:• When "H.264" is selected for "Recording format","On" or "Off" will automatically be selected for"Save logs" according to the setting of "Save trig-ger".• Schedule saving is available only when "H.264" isselected for "Recording format".■ FTP errorPerform the settings for the FTP error log list.Select "On" or "Off" and designate the destinationfolder in the same manner as for "Alarm".Important:• When "Name w/o time&date" is selected for "Filename" on the [FTP img. trans.] tab on the "Network"page, FTP error log and associated images will notbe saved. To save them, select "Name w/time&date". (☞ Page 117)Note:• When "H.264" is selected for "Recording format","FTP error" is unavailable.
