It is excluded from this function.Select the item with .Select the set point with .Input searchInput search1st search input2nd search inputCustom(None)(None)[Input search][Off]:When there is no signal, the input is not switchedautomatically.[All inputs]:Searches all inputs and switches to an input witha signal.Input search is executed in the following order.(Example) When the current input is [HDMI1][HDMI2] → [DIGITAL LINK] → [DVI-D] → [PC] →[VIDEO] → [USB] → [HDMI1]Note● The inputs set to [(Skip)] in [Input label] (see page51) are skipped when searching.[Custom]:Repeatedly searches [Current input], [1st searchinput] and [2nd search input] in order, and switchesto an input with a signal.[Input detection]:Monitors the following inputs set to [On], detectsthe status change from no signal to signal present,and switches to the input.[HDMI1], [HDMI2], [DIGITAL LINK], [DVI-D], [PC]PC16:9Searching...[Searching...] is displayed during the input search.[1st search input], [2nd search input]Set the input to search when [Custom] is selected.[HDMI1] / [HDMI2] / [DIGITAL LINK] / [DVI-D] / [PC]/ [VIDEO] / [USB] / (None)[Detect digital input]Sets the digital input to monitor during [Input detection].[HDMI1] / [HDMI2] / [DIGITAL LINK] / [DVI-D][Changing delay]Sets the delay time until the input is switched during[Input detection].[Off]:Switches the input if a signal is interrupted even fora very short period.1 ‒ 10:Sets the delay time (sec.).Switches the input when the set time has elapsedafter detecting no signal is present.However, if the detection period during which nosignal is present is shorter than the set delay time,the input is not switched.Note● When set to the USB input, the unit determinesno signal is present if the USB memory is notconnected to the USB terminal.In addition, even when a USB memory isconnected, if there is no playable file, the unitdetermines no signal is present.● This menu will be greyed out and cannot be setunder the following conditions.• [Input lock] is not set to [Off]. (see page 73)• When [Setup] - [Image settings] - [No signalimage settings] - [Display setting] is set to [On].(see page 54)● If the input is changed by this function, the lastinput is selected when the power is turned on nexttime.If you wish to retain the original input when thepower is turned on, set [Initial input] to the originalinput. (see page 72)● [Input detection] is the function that automaticallyswitches the input as below by monitoring thepresence of signal for the set input.• If a video signal is input to the set input that isnot displayed (When the status has changedfrom signal absent to signal present.), the inputis selected and switched.• If no signal is detected for the displayed input,the setting switches to the set input to which asignal is input. Also, if no signal is present forthe displayed input when the power is turnedon or when the input is switched, the settingswitches to the set input to which a signal isinput. When signals are input to multiple setinputs, the priority order as default (immediatelyafter power-on) is as follows:[HDMI1], [HDMI2], [DIGITAL LINK], [DVI-D], [PC]In the other case (When the input is switchedafter power-on), the input displayed last takespriority.● [Changing delay] is the function to prevent theaccidental input switch during a short period, such aswhen the signal is interrupted due to the frequencychange for the input signal while [Input detection] isoperating.If a signal is detected again within the set period(sec.), the input is not switched.
