Upgrading Your System 4-23PCI Option BoardThe server has two "riser cards" on the system board that enable installation oflow-profile and full-height PCI boards. Three PCI boards can be installed oneach riser card. (Up to six PCI boards can be installed in total.) Figure 4-22shows the locations of the PCI riser slots on the system board.Notes: The PCI board is extremely sensitive tostatic electricity. Make sure to touch the metal frame ofthe server to discharge static electricity from your bodybefore handling the PCI board. Do not touch the PCIboard terminals or on-board parts by a bare hand orplace the PCI board directly on the desk.
