Series 2280 Precision Measurement DC Power Supplies Reference Manual Appendix B: Verification077085501 / February 2015 B-9Performance verification conditionsThe following conditions must be met before performing these procedures:1. The device under test (DUT) and all test equipment must have been operating continuously for 20minutes in an environment that meets the operating range specifications for temperature andhumidity.2. Test setup changes affecting the remote sense require an additional 20 minute warm-up period.3. The procedures are intended to be used in sequence. If it is necessary to partially test the DUTusing an individual test, a 20 minute warm-up period is required for the individual test.4. You must connect the DUT and the test equipment to the same AC power circuit. Connect theDUT and test instruments into a common power strip if you are unsure of the AC power circuitdistribution. Connecting the DUT and test instruments into separate AC power circuits can resultin offset voltages between the equipment, which can invalidate this performance verificationprocedure.5. The AC power source for the DUT must match the voltage selector switch setting located on thebottom of the DUT.DUT voltage selector switch AC source voltage100 100 V120 120 V220 220 V240 240 VSome procedures use hazardous voltages. To prevent electrical shock, always power offinstruments before touching exposed circuitry. Read and follow the precautions in theSafety Precaution(on page 1-1).
